2CheckOut requiring passport+diving licence - Help needed

Hi.

I've set up an online store for the company I work for and set up an account with 2CheckOut, however we've now found out they require the boss to fax his passport and diving licence to them, which he is not keen to do unless he can talk to other UK merchants that have done this and felt happy about it (I think he's scared that they'll use them against him somehow).

If anyone is prepared to let him phone, or if not, email them, to reassure him it would help a lot.

I faxed them my driving licence and had no problems with them, as I do not have a passport I could not fax them that.



We use them for a couple of our companies and had no problem at the moment.

It is a requirement of the money laundering regulations. They are not allowed to pay out otherwise.

Seeing as some of the Egold directors just got nailed for money laundering and jailed, I think it is a damn good idea.
