Does anyone have any advice on licensing a new wine product into the US? We are a start up company who launched 5 weeks ago.

An American wine consultant became very "excited" about our product and we are looking into the possibility of licensing it out to him.(it's a playable bottle of wine with aromatic labels on the bottle, labels that peel away to reveal answers etc, for the gift market)

His company will supply and distribute the wine whilst we would supply the specialist labels, logo etc, (we currently have patent pending on the concept)

Is the cleanest way for us to take say 50c a unit and how would we keep an eye on sales etc?

Any advice would be most welcome!

Rgds

I have licensed our own software to the States (including to high profile companies and government agencies) so happy and able to assist. You firstly need a good contract but, more importantly, an agreed method of practical working to ensure that any opportunities to defraud are fully prevented or at least capable of being identified easily. email me at g.ross@TheMediationRoom.com (g.ross@TheMediationRoom.com)if you want to talk further.
