Hi,

As it says in the title, is there anyone out there who would know about legalities of public (on the street) publicity stunts (i.e. whether council needs to be informed, other liabilities etc)?

I'd like to PM someone details if you know a bit about the above. Please let reply if you do.

Cheers

Probably the council, the police (in case a large crowd forms/gets out of hand) and possibly Health and Safety (in case anything goes wrong).

Very much depends what you are doing - you might need public liability insurance if it involves getting members of the public to do anything.

I'm pretty sure you need to get clearance from the local authority. Give the council a ring and they should be able to help.
