Hi Folks,
Sad to see no one is posting anything here - in Irish business forums section...
Or maybe there is someone?

This is a UK site so that's probably why.
There's a similar and much more popular site at boards.ie

I'm sure a lot of Irish guys post here or read some of the stuff but not on the Ireland section.
The boards.ie link is possibly...

This slightly puzzles me. Even if I were looking for a specifically Eirish (?) answer to a question I would post it in the specific forum, themed by business activity rather than geography, presuming that those in Eire with an answer would read that forum and not just stay in the ghetto of a regional one.
This would apply to UK regional fora too: for instance a question about couriers in Scotland might well be answered by someone in Cumbria. The Cumbrian might miss the question if it is only in the Scottish forum.

So do you work from Ireland or Malta, and if you're in Malta, whereabouts?
We have an apartment in Malta that we actually bought from an Irish lady (who is married to a Maltese guy).

I'm domiciled in Ireland, sell to the UK but am currently living in Thailand. I've got freckles so that proves I'm Irish, though.
What was the question again?
Brian.

Hi stockdam,
I can't see what difference it makes if this is a UK site. Do UK business people not discuss problems relating to the Republic of Ireland with other UK business people? If they do I'd imagine they'd post on a UK board unless their query was strictly related to the problems being faced in Ireland.
If a business person in Ireland wishes to make contact with UK business people this is the obvious board on which to post a message.

I've subscribed here so I'll be delighted to contribute in these forums as required with local advice etc.
Kind regards,

Living in Northern Ireland gives you schizo-nationality, so i feel i am well able to post here. We sell products across all of Ireland and UK.
