Hi,

I've just gone through all the orders in the last couple of weeks that had failed to be placed at the Worldpay stage of things and it seems to be higher than usual.

Has anyone else experienced this.

(Failed orders as a whole seems to have risen since they updated it all, but lets not open THAT can or worms.)

Do you have 3D Secure on your account?

We use Protx and our failed orders have increased since they introduced this...

hmmm I don't know if thats affected it or not.

I chose not to make this compulsory on the site as many of my customers are only just coming to grips with purchasing on a website, none alone entering passwords!

However, I personally noticed the other day that a well-known super store would not let me use my credit card to purchase online becuase I had not set up a password, and it did not give me the possibility of doing so either.. It just automatically declined my card.

This is making me think that this could sometimes be happening on the website in that a few banks are declining cards automatically!

I think that reducing fraud on the internet is fine and dandy, however, considering I never really suffered much fraud to begin with, Worldpay are killing the flies with sledge hammers.
