Well I used to tinker with osc ages ago and read various forums and it seems that a lot of people recommend templates from algozone.
I could have a rant about Template Monster and their terrible support but I wont.
Template Monster sell on behalf of other people so they can't offer support. Nevertheless it is a good source.
Do a google on templates oscommerce. I'm sure you'll find more offerings than you can shake a stick at, because there are certainly plenty of them.

Here is an osCommerce template checklist (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=29170#postmenu_192367) I compiled a while ago on this forum.
Template monster also have an aggressive affiliate/reseller programme, so just because you might think you are buying a template from a totally different company in order to avoid template monster, you could still end up dealing with them.

One thing to look at if you do buy a template, is that, as they normally come embedded in a full version of OSC, make sure it is built on the latest release of OSC, which is 2.2RC2a.
If you have anything liss that this, to upgrade ir, ON A NEW, UNTOUCHED INSTALL ONLY, you should be able to up load all the non template related files over the exisiting ones.
