West Midlands seems a recent thread. I am looking for contacts/networking in area so a little about myself. I am an interim manager specialising in direct contracts which saves 30% or more. Have done just about all roles in a company except accountancy. Love a challenge and the whiff of hot technology.
I have developed a speciality (initially for my own sanity) in Mission and Planning Seminars (MAPS). These are used to define any problem from the small to "how do we survive the recession?". Originally I used them to define assignments before accepting them so that everyone was agreed what needed doing and how we would measure success. Now I am happy to offer them as freestanding tasks. I am also delighted to talk through the forum or email if a public forum is inappropriate.
The main advantage of this forum is that I would be able to commute from home if anything came up.
