small amount of sponsorship for local netball team

Morning, I am posting on behalf of my netball team who are currently struggling to find any form of local funding. We have been an established team for the past year, encouraging new members of all ages and abilities to join. We currently have 2 teams (A and B) playing in the Tyne and Wear summer league, and even better it looks like we might get promoted before the winter league starts again!
Anyway I am posting to ask if anybody knows of an alternative source of funding we could try (we have been down the usual routes of sport England and lottery grants) or knows of any local business’ that might be interested in sponsoring us.
The frustrating part is it's not like we require much money, we have a fantastic experienced coach who volunteers to train us and we manage to pay for the Newcastle college sports hall between ourselves. However, we are the only team playing in the league that does not have a proper netball kit! We have a hearts set on kukri netball dresses for the next season, and really just require a small amount of money to help us out. Obviously we are 100% willing to have company names printed on them also!

My husband is a boxing coach in his spare time and their club has just done the rounds looking for new sponsorships again.
Basically you need to contact as many local businesses as you can.
Choose businesses that are going to benefit from exposure at netball matches?
I would try a local hair salon? womens clothing shop, trendy bars, I am assuning you are adults? If not try childrens outlets,indoor play areas,
sports shops woulld appeal to all ages too or what about your local gym?
Businesses can use their advertising funds but at the end of the day they will still want to reap some benefits from the exposure.
Sorry but did you say what age your team is? ie adults, children?

Try some of the local bars in Newcastle? After all if football teams can get bars to sponsor them why can't a ladies netball team ;)
