Bank Reference

Hi everybody,

I hope somebody can help.
I have ran my business since December and it is very succesfull. I have a great Paypal account and in December set up a business account with Natwest. However, not exactly pushing themselves, they sent me my bank card in May.
I am in the process of moving into a shop, my landlord has had trade references, my paypal account and these have both passed. He has now asked for a bank reference to say that I can pay the rent. As I have only started putting money in over the last 2 months I know the bank will say I cant afford the rent. ( Although checking my paypal account I can)
The rent is £6500 and I have been asked to put one months rent down in advance which is fine. Does anybody have any advice on how much money I should put in the account so that the bank says I can afford the rent. How do they work it out, is it a computer system?
