Hi, i'm hoping for some advice on Affiliate programs or setups...
We run a decent sized online shop which sells products in a fairly competitive industry.
To help improve sales and take our business to the next level i hope to "affiliate" sales of our products to other companies and websites within our industry. Thus allowing them to make money from redirected traffic etc and us to make more sales as an end result. I don't want to be limited to banners and links, and have even considered allowing people to promot and sell our products directly in there own online shops.
I don't really know where to start... Are there companies who can manage and promot your affilate schemes, who have the code etc in place to make this happen fairly easily... Or is this something i should look to create myself? I'm a web developer with skills to a certain level but having not done anything ilke this before i don't want to jump in and waste hours doing something that someone has ready to go.
My only experience of affiliates is having banners for other companies on a hobby site i once did.
If anyone has any suggestions, websites to check out, or experiences running this kind of thing i'd be very grateful to hear them.
