Keeping catalogue upto date

Hi
I have an office supplies / printer cartridge website powered by oscommerce. I have been manually adding all the products and trying to keep them upto date. As we are very small company this is very time consuming and we still have not got all the product entered let alone kept them upto date

i have noticed with other printer websites that there catalogues are very similar.

Does anyone know of any product feeds that we can use to do this for us as the manufactures compatibility lists are also sometimes out of date

With the software we use we can import all the information from a spreadsheet or access database. Doesn't osc have this option?

yes we can import the information via spreadsheet

In that case ask your suppliers for a file with the info you need. Most of them should have a spreadsheet with it.

I have already asked them for a product feed still awaiting them to come back to me. I thought they my be another way or an authority that all the manufacturers had to update.
