I was going to use Website Payments Pro for my store, but am having trouble with getting the Paypal Express checkout (which is obligatory with WPP) to work properly. When I searched the web I found this is a common problem, but couldn't find the solution.

I'm also concerned that when I did a test order using a credit card there was no https or padlock with WPP when I was entering my details, so I'm now not sure how secure it is.

I've reverted back to ordinary paypal for now, but obviously I want to accept credit/debit cards again asap.

My question is, is it relatively easy to integrate a merchant bank a/c like Streamline and Protx gateway into Zencart? I've set the website up myself, so would prefer to do this myself as well.

Alternatively, are there any reasonably priced UKBFers who would take on a small job like that without designing the rest of the site?

By WPP, do you mean Paypal's facility? Surely Paypal can take credit card payments via their standard account?

I'd take a look at SecPay for a gateway interface. Its help pages are very good, especially if you're not too sure of your programming skills. But yes, Zen cart is a first class ecommerce system and as far as I am aware each and every merchant account can interface with it. Whilst volunteers have built Paypal and Google Checkout interfaces, the system itself was never intended to have only limited capabilities. Take a look through its additional modules lists and you may find the one you want already there.

Decide what you want and have a look at its documentation to see whether you will be comfortable doing it yourself. PM me if not.

Thanks for your reply - for some reason it didn't occur to me to check the additional modules - it turns out Protx is included and the module is apparently easy to configure.

I will have a go at doing it myself, but will definitely contact you if I find I do need some professional assistance! Thanks again.
