I wonder whether it is possible to register a UK domain (.co.uk) outside the country. I mean I am not a UK citizen, can I still register such a domain?
Thanks.

Yes, you can register a .co.uk domain wherever in the world you are.

No, there are no special conditions for .co.uk domain name registration

The only thing to really be aware of is this little condition in the T&C.
39 This contract is made under the law of England and any court proceedings must be in the English courts. If you are a consumer in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, we will accept your local law and courts. Enforcement of a court order may be done in any law or court system that is relevant.
... so if you hit problems with a registrar for example you can't take them to court outside the UK...

Unlikely but about the only requirement that might be location specific.

You certainly shouldn't have a problem registering a .co.uk domain. The only issue might be that the registrar you want to use may block payment from non uk cards...maybe....

Andrew765, provided you can pay me, I will sell you a .uk domain. Most credit and debit card providers will allow payments in currencies other than your local one. It is receipt of payment, not which card or currency it originates in, that your supplier will be interested in.

You can either choose your own tag holder and DNS provider wherever in the world you wish, tag holder wherever in the world you wish and use our DNS or use us for tag holding, DNS provision and hosting. You will probably find that this is true of almost every domain seller or reseller on the planet.

How you get paid for what you sell is up to your merchant account provider. Not sure if that's what djdavejones was referring to?

Use a decent registrar, you will have no probs.
