I have tried to upgrade the title tags on my site. Could I have an opinion please?

Hi Linda,
I think the titles are generally good, and it is clear that you have indulged in some basic on-page SEO.
Now, I am going to be a little harsh and I hope I don't offend...
I think the actual design of the website is quite poor and needs to be greatly improved if you are to compete at a higher level. I would very much like to know what your conversion rate stands at (unique visitors/purchases) as i suspect it may be very low, which means that your marketing efforts may be, to a degree, wasted.
I am talking from a consumers view as I know wouldn't have gone past the first page. I hope you don't mind this feedback, which is intended to be constructive.

Linda ive seen worse your site not that bad just add a little more description into your title tag Ive had a look at your source you need to add some key words into your site if you can get access to your index page edit it in word pad and add some key words
here is an example from mysite
<meta name="keywords" content="computer parts,mp3,gadgets,graphics cards,monitor,lcd,pc upgrades,keyboards,systems,ipod,docks,laptops,
cheap peripherals," />
hope this helps

Title tags are fine, although do you really need to include your site in them?
Is anyone going to search using this? I would consider replacing with something that will benefit you.
As for the comment son your website design, colour is too bright on my laptop and hurt my eyes I would perhaps go for something more subtle.You could do with more images so we can see what you sell I don't mean this to sound harsh but your blog info and picture will not convert anyone looking into a buying customer that space could be used to a better advantage.
The foirst few pages look boring and text is dull but once you get to the actualproduct pages they look really good prices are good, nice pictures and nice products.Just a few tweaks but I have seen a lot lot worse so don't be disheartned:)

May I just add the following;
Be careful when using mod-rewrites (search engine friendly URLs) - your URLs are way too deep for products.

Do page titles have to be meaningful or just SEO keywords?

Hi There, Title tags are vital for the search engine crawl of your site and can make a huge different to your results when being searched for. The most relevant phrases and key words need to appear more often than irrelevant ones but I would make them meaningful (for the end user).....bare in mind this is only a small part of the SEO process...I suggest a keyword density tool (do a search on Google) and keep tweeking the density of the most important words.....be warned read up first and dont over do it....hope this helps!
