Directors Disappeared

Need some quick advice.

If the directors of a company have disappeared owing money, can the company secretary be made liable for money owing from the company.
As he is the only contactable officer of the company.

Any advice would be helpful.

no and neither can the directors, the company owes the money if its a ltd company

It depends what you mean by the directors owing the money. What does the debt consist of ? Do you actually mean them personally or do you actually mean that the company owes money to creditors ? If the company owes it then SALINV is correct.
