Hi,
I am new to the ecommerce world and would like to get into it. Now I am in a stage where I need to find the best solution for my online books shop.
I got into OutYard.com and there is just to much offering and I need some recommendation.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Sharon,
You could have a look at our site www.paceretail.co.uk (http://www.paceretail.co.uk). We offer a very good cost effective solution from as little as £20 per month.
I would also recommend you take some time to look at some of our testimonials.
Our contact details are on the site if you want to talk directly!
Kind Regards,

There is no easy answer to this I'm afraid. All the available solutions have their pros and cons. Create a check list of what you need the site to do, that will narrow things down. Include available budget in your check list.

For book shop companies wanting to sell online, selling from their own ecommerce site may not be the best way to go. It is also worth considering the alternatives, such as opening an online shop with Amazon marketplace store (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=3149101), or an online shop on an independent bookseller portal such as www.bookpartnership.com (http://www.bookpartnership.com), or an online shop on a second hand book website portal such as AbeBooks (http://www.abebooks.co.uk/docs/Sell/).
If you are thinking about ebooks then your available options would be different again.
If you still think that you want your own website then please have a look at our ecommerce solution (http://www.awebapart.com) and do get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements further.

Perhaps drop openmind (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=4575) a pm - he has a rather good shopping cart solution that might suit your needs; you can check out his profile via his profile as well.
