Has anybody used Paypal Micropayments facility, and how have you found it? Thanks alot

Yes I've used it and it works fine - ONCE you get it set up. I'm just looking into this again for a new client and I'm hoping there is a better system than last time I tried about a year ago.
I can't really remember the details, but here is the essence of the fiasco: The signup form on their website is only for US customers, so I phoned their customer services and they told me I should set up a standard account and then ring them again to get it converted to a micropayments account. I did this (on hold for about 40 minutes each time) and was then told that the account couldn't be converted, and I had to sign up from scratch, using a form which turned out not to work (it may even been the form I originally tried - I can't remember). Over the course of about 2 months there then followed a variety of angry emails from me, and thinly veiled auto-responses from them, until eventually the account did get converted to micropayments.
Sorry that's probably not very useful. I think the main advice I can offer is to allow lots of time to get it set up!
