Hi eweshop,

I can offer you online bespoke training, fully customised to your needs, i.e. focusing solely upon the elements / features / functions etc that interest you - without overloading you with a huge array of information that you'll probably never need or use (as is often the case with most traditional training providers / courses).

I can be a flexible as you need & can create a step-by-step guide (PDF) or alternative movie clips & place them online for you to view at your leisure, as & when you choose.

If this sounds of interest, just let me know.

Kind regards

Graham

It might be an idea to go for something like that, you will find it hard to get a phsical course on those shoping carts, but if you take courses in php, html and css you should be able to unstand the code behind them, which will give you an heads start.

Plus it all depends on how good your logic and imagination is, to how good you are to develop them.

online e-commerce training? let's give it a whirl in this thread...

but before we start, there's different angles to "e-commerce" ... on one side it can be about branding strategy - very graphically oriented... on another side it can be about web programming.... and it could also be about market places...

which side(s) of the coin are you most interested in?

It depends on what sort of service or training you are looking for, but if its user-training for osCommerce based shops you could try Carl at CS New Media (http://www.csnewmedia.co.uk) or Paul at awebapart.com (http://www.awebapart.com), both members of this forum.

As Birmingham said, there are lots of areas eCommerce covers from eCommerce marketing (http://www.internetretailer.biz/partner/ecommerce_marketing__ppc__cpc.aspx?qsaid=285) and converting visitors into customers (http://www.internetretailer.biz/partner/converting_ecommerce_shop_visitors_into_customers. aspx?qsaid=199) through to managing your budget and customer expectations.

I'm sure the bods in this forum can tell you all you need to know, or we'll at least try :p
