3 Years degree 2 years full time post grad study 2 years on the job training ( training contract) in a law firm after post grad study and further 2-7 years post qualification as an assistant solicitor to build up litigation experience.

Costs of study I would guess now around £35K and low earning whilst training. Hours per week whilst undergraduate normally 35-40 and as post grad 40-50 ( law students have short holiday times also). Training contract working around 50 hours per week and more as an assistant solicitor.

Good idea, there are and have been for years now far many more graduates seeking law firm training contracts than there are places and after a while these qualifications expire as they simply become out of date.
