Sunrise Celebration. Winners of the most socially responsible festival award 2006 are looking for ethical companies & individuals to sponsor this years event. With a 10,000 capacity running over 4 days at the end of May. We run a site wide organic food policy, compost toilets, recyclable everything. Hi Paula, yes thats the one Bearly Farm South Somerset. It was my 1st year last year & it had such an impact on my daughter & myself that we got involved in any way we could.

It was a wicked little festival! One of the few which was actually blessed with good weather this year. Lots of nice food and cider from what I remember.
The compostable toilets were probably the nicest bit of the festival - for the unitiated - if you have the choice between a portaloo or a compostable at a festival, always choose the compost one - much cleaner, less smelly and fresh air!

Yay, go compost toilets!!! You're right, they are the best thing a fest can have. chemical toilets can be a scary place at the best of times but Compost......so clean, so fresh & so airy. they sdhould be a pre-requisite for every festival

So wanted to go but couldn't make it. Heard it was the best of all the festivals last summer.
