Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. I have an ecommerce store selling fashion accessories which are reasonably priced to compete with the high street(touchy feely products that women prefer to try on). I've only been up and running for about a year but already I feel as though the market is too saturated for what I'm doing. I average around 500 unique visits a month (I know this is tiny :() and I have done some SEO to my site. I always hand out many cards when I am out and about, but for some reason, people prefer to buy directly from me in person. Has/does this happen to you too? Anyone been in a similar situation/are in a similar situation that can offer any advice on how to move forward? Many thanks!

Why not introduce yourself in the Intro section and put your website in your profile so that we can get a better idea of what the problem(s) might be?

What sort of fashion accessories do you sell? I'm in the vintage/retro/recycled fashion business myself and trade exclusively online. I find that customers are usually happy to buy knowing they can return an item for any reason if it isn't suitable.

Hi NOVO,

I agree with frockery.

Could you provide further information on your website? Perhaps we could take a look and mention some pointers?

Yeah, I'd like to see for myself. With such low traffic you're probably not going to get conversion per month into double figures. If you're getting 5 + sales a month then you just need to up the traffic, if not however you may have more serious problems.
