Hi, i'm new here.
I recently decided to start my own business, but with no money ( i know, not very logical), I set up various different websites and am doing pretty well through ad revenue, but not well enough.
So I decided to take a chance on the one listed on my profile.
Could someone give me some pointers please?
This would be much appreciated

As with any affiliate scheme you need sales to gain revenue, so you need to work on gaining sales.

Not a fan of the site concerned personally, seen thousands of them, and you are in a very competitive market with little control I imagine on the look, feel and content of the site.

Although you can say the site is yours, the customers never really will be, which is where the real value in all businesses really reside.

Best of luck anyway.

I don't have the rights to amend the site, i would say i am a reseller. Should really look into things more thoroughly i do suspect.

yeah, i understand that. I am just thinking, even if i don't make a grand sum (i don't imagine i will) Whatever i earn through that and my own sites, i can earn enough to get myself up and running. rather than relying entirely on loans.

I was not being critical, it was just my opinion.

I have no experience with such schemes but I'm sure there will be a few guys doing well whilst a lot do badly, partly down to luck and the biggest part due too inaction. Such sites tend to encourage a sit back and wait for the money attitude with the sales pitch, where as with any business you still have to work hard to suceed.

How I understand it (and correct me if I am wrong here) you really need to drive people to your site rather than carry out any onsite SEO?

If so then I would look at buying a new domain name and set up a cracking blog on it. On the blog you would have general information about mobile phones and the general telecommunications industry, thereby increasing your status within the industry. People coming to your site would then be able to click on links in the your posts and in adverts at the side of the blog which link through to the site you are trying to promote.

On the blog site you can carry out general SEO and to get blog fodder you could try Google Alerts.

Hope this gives you a good starting point.
