Which sort of display stand would work out the cheaperst:

Is the Wooden Base stand or the Acrylic stand cheaper?

Do you make these stands out of old furniture etc?

Hi,the price depends on the amount of labour involved !
I have to use new acrylic as it is easily scratched.
I buy my timber from a reclamation yard, so it is mostly old beams from house demolition etc.
The welded steel ones mainly off cuts and non ferrous from local scrap yards.
Did you have a design in mind ?

Hiya,

Using chipboard, im looking to create cartoonish characters that would stand up to 2 meteres tall and about 60cm wide. I want to do this my self though.

However, I want to be able to keep them free standing, ie without having to lean them onto a wall. Can you help with the stand bit? Feel free to PM me.
