Hi there

I have been letting funds build up in my Nochex account and last week tried to make my first withdraw and it wont let me, I have been in contact with them and apparently they want something in our terms and conditions changed as its not compliant - I am waiting to hear back from the complainace team as to what it is but just wondered if anyone had any ideas?

I am a little annoyed to be fair as they are the same terms and conditions as when we first started and they didn't make any comments then!

Does sound odd, you were compliant enough for them to let you put money into their system in the first place, but when you come to withdraw it your suddenly not? Plus they didnt tell you specifically what is non compliant, just something is not compliant?

Does that mean the transfer process is not electronic ?

That is your request has kicked off a manual input by Nochex ?

I think in theory the process is electronic it just mine caused an error saying my withdraw limit was £0.00 per day :|

I had visions of your request going in front of the Nochex Bank Manager for approval :)

:D

This is not the first thread about NoChex not giving up merchants money, seems odd that they'd 'OK' your web site only to insist on changes after they've made money off you through transaction charges?

TotsCorner - Did you sort out the withdrawal in the end?

We did in the end, although the message and subsequent emails were not that well worded - apparently it was because they hadn't registered the signed terms and conditions that I sent back to them when the account was opened. So once another set were signed and sent off my withdraws were fixed and haven't had any problems since (touch wood!!)

Nochex payment problem.

I have recently have a problem where by Nochex have sent me message state "we have had to disable any withdrawal of funds from your account"

I have attempted to email them but only receive general 'cut & paste' responses.

I telephoned Nochex with my complain and was simply stone walled.

I have heard many horror stories about PayPal, but I thought that Nochex was different.

I have now changed all of my checkouts from Nochex and would never return. Nochex are simply unsafe.

The lesson I have learn is don't under any circumstances leave money in any of these 3rd party payment accounts, be them Nochex, PayPal or any other.
