I've been trying to find some graphics to make my site have a Christmas feel but not found anything.
What do you do with your site and when do you start?

I wont make mine christmassy, just wintery (and thus appeal to everyone), with snow added everywhere, via custom graphics

Last year I put a Santa hat on our little yeti who appears on the home page and a couple of others.
A small and subtle change I think is key - don't go overboard with the falling snowflakes etc!
I'll probably do this on December 1st though I'm feeling quite Christmassy now.

On our mast head of our Gift site we put a nice Christmassy scene, probably middle of November we will change it over.

I take loads of pictures at Christmas of all my decorations, tree, snow if there is some, anything that catches my eye and use them the following year for my website.
I change it in the middle of november.

Well if you have a Zen-Cart website why not download a free Christmas template here:

I've just come on here to ask the same thing! And, I've just tried the falling snow but all I managed to do was have falling red crosses... I must be putting the image in the wrong place! Good tips though!

I was out walking the other week and we came across a holly tree / bush with big green leaves and bright red fruit. I took a piece home, photographed it, prepared it for use on the web and put it onto my site - pride of place, slap bang in the middle - very Chrismassy :0) Shame my site will not be ready by Christmas though :0(
