Oh right, I thought they were going to start opening up their homepage to this sort of advertising (when did I miss this? ;) ).

Essentially is it just content network with pictures. If it piggybacks the same system I'd probably prefer to sort out banner advertising with specific sites rather than letting Google put the banner where they want.

agree,try to put your banner just on there you targeted customers may emerge,then maybe you can get good result,or it's waste money,though it's not easy as said,but you have to give your effort about that:)

I have done one advert, running it alongside traditional text advert and will compare results in two weeks time. You can still set your budget in this too.
