Hi I have a business and take orders over the phone / fax , I have a merchant account that is MOTO enabled and am looking for a virtual terminal to use, I am aware are of Protx and Secure trading. Are there any others I should be considering? Also any feedback would be appreciated as this is an area I am new to.
Costs I have so far is Protx £20 a month
Secure trading £10 / month and 30p/transaction
My volume will be low 10-50 transactions a month but high order value :)
Thanks in advance
Matt

No dis-respect Mark. But you will get answers much easier here if you post a little introduction about yourself in the section "introductions". No one enjoys a first post asking for help from a random. Telling us a little about your business will also help us to answer your questions better.
Welcome to the forum anyway.

MOTO? - Have not come across that one but if it is online card processing via a webpage then Worldpay have one. Can't remember the cost though and it will be different for England

I don't have a problem with it. :| He's told us everything we need to know to answer the question. I hardly ever read the intro forum anyway, think it's a waste of time.
We use Protx Virtual Terminal and it does the job nicely.

We use the Protx Virtual Terminal as well and can also recommend it.
And MOTO...is that not a chain of service stations!:)

service stations......or tastebud terrorists?
Anyway measuring the 2 up and speaking with them I went with secure trading on the basis they were small and friendly.... and mighty damn efficient as within 24 hours I'm up and running and can now process my telephone orders :)

Hi Matt,
I'd have recommended Secure Trading too. I've been dealing with them a bit lately and they sem superb on the customer service side of things. Something ProTX is somewhat lacking in.
If you're a KashFlow user, you'l soon be able to use a built-in MOTO terminal with either ProTX or Secure Trading to easily take payments and automatically asign those payments to your invoices.

Hi
I have been using Protx since May. It works as a VSP absolutely flawlessly, and i love it every time i use it. Also, you know where you are with the costings too.
Kind regards

I use a VT from Protx to the Co-operative bank.
Do be aware you will get a far far better deal from Protx if you apply via the FSB.
