I am in the final stages of setting up an E Commerce website selling a variety of luxury goods.

I have registered with Paypal premier and Google Checkout to accept credit card payments on line but would love to be able to offer the facility to take orders over the phone with payment by credit card or debit card.

Can anybody advice the quickest way of setting this up, through whom and the cost?

Thank You in anticipation.

This has been discussed numerous times. You can either go with someone like worldpay who offer a complete service or get a merchant account from your bank.

For luxury ( i.e. expensive) goods, I wouldn't touch paypal with a bargepole, you would be a wonderful target for scammers.
For such high end goods, a real IMA is the ONLY way to go with full fraud protection.
check this site out - why it hasn't been made a sticky, I don't know??

I used Barclays EPDQ-Lite which is a web based facility for taking telephone credit card orders, worked fine for me :)

I would be careful with PayPal, but doesnt PayPal Pro come with a virtual terminal? link below. I cant post the link correctly for some reason but if you go to their uk website then choose Merchants > Accept all major debit and credit cards then there is a small "virtual terminal" link at the bottom of the page.

hope that helps
