Just a thought off the back of another thread regarding Amazon. Does anyone here use Amazon as a business seller and if so how have you found it.
I notice they charge £25 a month for the service which is probably not bad if you compare it to the likes of Ebay seller fees etc but just wondered if anyone here generates much business from it?

Yes, its a good service BUT remember they also charge 15% off the top AND they set the postage (but they also take 15% off the postage).
You can get badly burnt if the item you are selling is much heavier than their postage warrents.

I'm a pro merchant - you have to apply and be accepted for that. Monthly charge is £25 and fees in toy category are 17.25%. However, from moving up from a pro seller account my sales have increased from about 10-15 a week to 8-20 every day.
The toy categories are really oversubscribed and there are two particular sellers doing wooden toys that both sell at cost or less than cost - no idea how they do it but on those items (and they've got a blanket cover on several manufacturers toys) I don't even both price matching them because I'm not prepared to make a loss.
