Can not comment on googlecheckout but I have set up with paypal and that seemed very easy. I am in the middle of setting up www.GreenGingerCards.co.uk (http://www.GreenGingerCards.co.uk) with rentacart.co.uk who use zencart and they have very good support - not sure if they would give a little advice to you for free but may be worth a try if you do have any problems.

I have tried to set it up on oscommerce that is pretty much a similar program to zencart. It installed fine but it did not recognise our merchant ID. The Google checkout doesn't come up as an option with paypal, credit card, cheque instead there is a link to google checkout before you go to the rest of the websites shopping cart.

I might just stick with paypal then.Think I will wait until googlecheckout has been integrated into zencart as no doubt they will add this in.
I have read quite a few worrying things too about googlecheckout.Might be wise if I wait untl they have ironed out all their teething troubles!

it cost us £35 to have it integrated with 2 shipping options.
The company I paid was my web host company, and it took them a while to get it up and running properly as we were the first one they had set up and it wasnt as straight forward as it first seemed.
Hi Blush,
This has been discussed on the oscommerce forum. Google checkout can be added, but some people have had issues in adding it to UK sites due to tax calculation issues I believe, it works fine in the US. We are waiting a few months to see if these bugs can get sorted before we install it.
Kind Regards,
Sean

According to the rentacart site they do support google checkout, so it looks like they have already installed one of the early modules. However I would say that there are other issues to be aware of with rentacart, I recently helped another store owner on another forum who was having some issues with thumbnailing:

I just integrated google checkout into my site and it seemed to be ok, but when I try to add anything into a database field I am getting the following message:
1146 Table 'unlockology_zc1.google_orders' doesn't exist
in:
[select google_order_number from google_orders where orders_id= 5353]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.
The site is unlockology.com
I am not sure what I am doing wrong? I would appreciate anyone's input.
Also, I want the customer to have a choice between Paypal and Google Checkout. Currently the google checkout icon is popping up in the shopping cart page, before you even get a chance to choose Paypal as an option?
Can anyone help with this?
Thank you
