Hi
I have just won finance to help with our website and one of the key areas we need help with is SEO. I've had one quotation but obviously would like to see what others could do for me.
If you've used an SEO company that you have been pleased with or you are an SEO co that has some sites they've optimised to show me I'd be very keen to hear from you.
if you could post your URL / email address here I'll take a look.
Many thanks.

Sarah I can thoroughly recommend Dave at dtinterenetservices.co.uk http://www.dtinternetservices.co.uk/ he's done a little bit of work for me, and he does know his stuff as well as being resonably priced - he charges a part fee then the rest after you've got results....

Hello, I'm dave (dt internet services).
Thanks for the plug Miranda :)
A bit of free advice for everbody here...
use your signature to your best advantage, for example, Miranda's signature is....
Miranda
twinkleontheweb
Washable nappies, organic toiletries, clothing and more........come and look!
with 'twinkleontheweb' as the link text.
it's far far better to link to your own websites using your keywords as the link text instead of your URL.
if you use...
' Washable nappies, organic toiletries, clothing and more........come and look!'
...as the link text, it'll help you rank higher in the search engines for keywords such as 'washable nappies', 'organic toiletries' and any other keywords which are in the lnk text.
hope this helps,
dave

I could not help but reply regarding the recommendation of Luke at Web Events Europe. My client gave Web Events a large amount of money but they have done an incredibly bad job.
For example, they picked keywords that no one is searching for. This made it very easy for Web Events Europe to make us number one on Google, but only for a search term that no one used (stats on Yahoo Overture and Adwords were almost 0). The result – No visitors arrived!
They also promised links from articles on important websites, which never happened. When I pointed out how obviously doomed to fail their keyword strategy was, they asked me – the graphic designer – to come up with a new one. I pointed out that this is their job and they seemed to take offence. In summary, I would avoid Web Events Europe at all cost.
