I don't have an SSL Certificate on my website, all payments are handled via Nochex or Paypal so I know that they are secure but customers still have to enter personal info when going through my checkout and this is unprotected.
A couple of questions:
1. Do you think it puts buyers off by not having SSL installed
2. My hosting provider is offering InstantSSL Pro for £65 + VAT per year, is this reasonable?

1) Yes - but only if they see a page without a padlock where they have to enter their payment details
2) Yes that seems about average, some hosts throw it in for a freebie so you can be sure it doesn't cost very much

Its certainly useful for customers who are not used to using paypal/nochex etc...
PS. There is an extraneous ?> tag at the top of your page... :-)
