Does anyone know of a good wholesalers. I intend to use, to sell on Ebay.

Any knowledge of any good ones would be appreciated, especially if they are ebay wholsalers as i know some are now adays.

Are these forums an aftermath of a website under the same name?

I would certainly recommend The Wholesale Forums, i'm an advertiser on there. It is a great community with a good mix of wholesalers and retailers and a good source of information for those interested in the sector.

No one is going to tell you who their good wholesalers are. Why would they, when doing so only serves to increase their competition? When you do find a good wholesaler, it makes strong business sense to keep them to yourself. I wish the opposite were true, but it's not.

One thing you should remember is that the majority of wholesalers still do not have an online catalogue, and many of those that do are not up to date. Final word of advice - don't ever pay to access a list of wholesalers. Every wholesaler listed on a paid site also has a website. Use Google to find them, that's what it's for.

Depending on what sort of wholesale you're looking for there are a lot of different sites you can try.

DHgate is a Chinese supply site full of wholesalers however be careful as some Chinese dealers can be unscrupulous and scammers, although my dealings with the site have been pleasant and trouble free. I bought iPods and some unbranded mobile phones from there.

TradeTang - Much like DHgate but a variation upon a theme.

Esources are a large list of suppliers to look at. I've never personally tried any of them and i have heard some stories about people being scammed but so long as you pay securely i shouldnt think there will be much problem.

Alibaba like esources but in my experiences people seem a little unprofessional and dodgy - be careful

Thats it for the better of the index sites although i have found a few specialised sites (although only for mobile phones)

www.363logistics.co.uk - iPhone specialist, has the best prices i can find for this product and they take everything a good wholesaler should (credit cards and such like) I've bought from these guys twice now with no issues at all - very helpfull. Profit on Ebay or Amazon is good as well as you can get hold of 10 products for £520PU.

Gamejelly - these guys do video games, never ordered from them but i do know the owner fairly well and i doubt anyone has had much problem with them.

2020 Logistics - Very big wholesaler or many different mobile phones, expensive and leave people with very little room for profit but they are 100% reliable as they are a massive corporation.

Dataselect - Like 2020 Logistics but a variation upon a theme, if you can get an account with both they will offer good discounts if you get the opposition to offer a low quote so although base prices seem high with a little manipulation you can get their prices lowered.

Visit the wholesale forum mentioned above and see how wrong you can be, a thread with approx 211 pages with a suspended advertiser member, called gamejelly. No-one on that forum would touch him with a bargepole.
