Yahoo are offering a solution for a 'store in box' style package that I would be willing to sign up for but they are only offering such a service to the US market.

Anyone know when they are due to cross the sea?

Alternatively, anybody know a good alternative to Yahoo Store? I looked at BT but seems significantly more expensive! (£25 p/m - Yahoo $27)

Basically I need a shopping cart, reports, at least 5 email accounts and possibly some the other usual extras these packages throw in.

Appreciate your feedback guys,
Nick

At the risk of advertising, there's many actual web development companies (including ourself) that have similar "out the box" products that may suit (and may even be cheaper).... Plus, chances are you'll end up with your own "shopdomainname.com" rather than promoting Yahoo or Ebay etc every time.

Give me a shout if you'd like any further info.

Ebay offer an option prostores.com, not sure if its open to uk, you should have a look.

As with yahoo stores and the like, they allow you to use your own domain.

I'm also waiting for yahoo to allow uk signups, although I've never tried signing up, what happens if you do? Do they ask for your location and then tell you that you can't use it?

I think you have to enter a valid US tel contact no for a start. Didnt go any further than that!
