we are planning to have a stand at some major outdoor events next year, such as the cosford air show, several county shows, toy fairs and motoring events, I have made some tentative enquiries and they all say that you need this insurance. my question is; how much is a policy? I don't want to get any quotes until I know some ballpark figures. thanks. helen.

It can be as little as £60 a year - but it depends on the business type. It wouldn't hurt to get quotes as they will be more accurate than ball park figures and you aren't obligated to buy - though it can be a drag to fill out the forms or talk someone through your details.
