Page Ranking how long???

Afternoon all,
I was wondering about page ranking. I have gained tons of knowledge form the forum about how to increase traffic, sort my site out (that has now been redesigned btw). Also article building on your site etc etc. My question is this...

My mother in law has a site www.clemsdaughter.co.uk (http://www.clemsdaughter.co.uk) and she has had the site for approx 18 months never done anything with it, nada, not even put a new product on there. She hasn't even got a links page.

He PR is 3... why? How??

Hope someone can shed light on this. Am i missing something here?

Building pagerank is pretty easy these days and sites which have been around for a while always end up with a good PR with just a couple of links.

It is possible to have a low traffic site with high PR and a high traffic site with none so do not always bas your information on PR alone

Because she has a couple of links coming into the site. Links out do not count for much other than helping the engines determine the theme of your site.

PS. The new site looks good. You just need some optimisation applying to it now.
