Does anyone know how much lloyds charge to setup a merchant account. The website is very loose and just says ' businesses are different and we charge according to the business'.
I was just after a ballpark figure???

Around the £199 mark I believe, I presume you mean Cardnet ?

It's not cheap whatever the final outcome is. :)

Your business account manager will be able to give you the low-down if you ask. If not just ring Cardnet up and get a quote..

We paid about that too. After three months we gave them a call as we were taking considerably more through the account than we first anticipated and they dropped our rates!

Very helpful and friendly people to deal with...

Join the FSB for £130 and get started with Streamline with NO set up fee and basic facility costing £14.95 + VAT PCM. Also regarding FSB, you get cheap phone calls, halved land line rental, free insurance against IR investigation, free 24hr legal advice, free business banking for life with CO OP bank and loads more. Seems a no brainer to me, I don't know why every small business does not join! and no, I'm not a FSB rep!
