Hi all,

New to the forum!

In the process of setting up my own small company focussing on producing video reports for online news and corporate sites.

I have a business account with Barclays. They seem very keen on me taking out a paid for subscription to the Barclays Business Manager software. It's quite pricey and I'm unsure whether it's suitable for a small start-up business. However anyone I speak to seems to think it would be a good idea!

Has anyone had any experiences with this software? Who is it suitable for? Are you glad you took it out? Is it really good for smallish companies?

Cheers,

H

Hi,
Barclays Sage doesn’t have a cover and in the end we’ve bought the software from Sage directly. The professional package will give you some benefits in paying less bank charges but better ask you bank manager.

It took us months to try and cancel the subscription to the 'Barclays Sage' package. For some reason they just couldn't get the cancellation through their useless system. For that reason alone I won't touch it.
