I have had a lot of ideas in the past and still do that would reallly well in different circumstances.

My problem upto recently has been that i have difficulty putting ideas into practice, pushing them, selling them. Putting confidence in people about services and products.

But the other thing is that its not always what you want. There are alot of haters around us that would not like you to do well and rather have the success and money to themselve and these people can also come in the way.

An idea alone is not going to achieve anything. Having the guts to borrow the money, to dare and persevere could help alot more.

This is the difference I see with successful people and those less so. Also there are releigious beliefs and inhibitions that stop us from doing certain things.

Many moons ago, after life fell apart (as it sometimes does during our years on this planet) I had a choice to make

1. catch a bus to an appointment 4 miles away and not eat that night

2. walk to the appointment and eat that night.

I walked and eat. The life of a startup is not easy, sometimes it takes sacrifices, sometimes it is tough, but it is always satisfying to look back and say 'I did that' :)

Mind you he was late for the appointment and could not eat for the next month.;)

hahahaha:D very true there is always a sacrifice it might be in any form to reach to your goal or dream.. life of a new entrepreneur is not easy... needs lot of dedication, hardwork and motivation to achieve your dream, dream is the only thing that motivates us to stand and fight negativity in our life and go out to reach and fulfill our true dreams.

Haha yes there is. Can't the mods think up some special title for the old goat?

:-)

Back on topic heck yes if you don't want to do what's necessary to swim the channel, don't put your toes in the water.

They already do they call me Sir.

So do you think Frank Whittle swam the channel before or after he invented the jet engine?:|

Whenever he did it, it works for me. At least he invented the jet engine, a lot more of a landmark than some eh?

This is a great story. The sacrifices we make for anything worth having in life can be great. It's the choices you make every day that get you to your goal and make you who you are. I know so many very successful people who just kept focus and never, never gave up.

Everything is doable. Most of the time we just have to make the choice to do it!
