Hiya,
I am kind of stuck, in choosing the writing to put on my business cards. I have managed to do the front fine, however on the back I thought it might be a wise idea to put a mission statement or something along those lines on the back...

So, I have come up with these two options... VersionA
And VersionB

I am not sure how well you can see the background, but it is a picture of an eye, as there is also an eye on the front...

Basically I was just wondering which do you prefer, and which do you think looks best/sounds best?://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f115/Diarmuid22/versiona.jpg

Unfortunatley it wouldnt allow me to put links, here, so you need to add "http" to the start of the addresses, sorry about that, but I need to make 15 posts before it will let me link things...

Thanks

I notice on the first image it says 'turing'. I was confused at first but after checking the second I asume it's just a spelling mistake.

Personally I'd go for version A without the full stops and just capitalize the sentence. I also didn't notice that was an Eye in the backround until you told me (thought it was supposed to be tarnished metal or something). I would advise you encorporate another line below the pupil so it looks more like an eye. Then again if the card will be smaller then the Image on my screen you might be able to see it better, it's up to you.

yeah, sorry about that I forgot to mention the turing spelling mistake in the first one and the tommorow spelling mistake on the second one, thank you for your feedback, and keep it coming!!

Thanks

Hi there

Not sure what program you are using for design and not sure how experienced you are with regards to design for print, however, just in case you are spending hours designing your biz card in MS Paint or the like then take a quick look here which explains what specifications printers need with regards to file type:

http://www.stationery-direct.co.uk/Design.html#PrintOnlyRequirements

Regarding the designs, they both look really bad in my opinion, neither tie in with the colours used on your website and that will not look like an eye when printed. Sorry to sound harsh but back to the drawing board.

If you need any help or require a quote on print then give me a shout.

Hi
If you are going to the additional expence of having something printed on the back, my view is that it should be something that encourages people to keep the card. Who will most of the cards be going too? what would they find useful to have to hand?

As other comments have said if you are going to have the graphic it needs to be a bit more obvious.

Having looked at the site, is the front of the card consistant with the web design? because the back doers not appear so?

Good luck with the venture

I'd go for Version B but without the "Our Vision" bit. I think it is obvious that what follows is a vision/mission statement.

Agree with the other poster who said it is not obvious that the background is an eye.
