UK Business studies Teachers and students - To celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (14th-20th November), educational charity, Teach A Man To Fish is launching the School Enterprise Video Challenge. Unleash your inner entrepreneur and win one of a number of prizes including visits from leading entrepreneurs.
This is a competition designed to encourage young people, aged 10 - 18, to think through the steps and processes of establishing a business and gain invaluable experience researching and marketing an idea for a school enterprise.
Students will be asked to produce a short video pitching an idea for a school-based enterprise, and teachers will be provided with various resources to help them run a half day workshop. This will teach students how to produce a business plan that will not only generate profit, but that will also be socially and environmentally responsible.
The deadline to register by email for your resource pack is November 14th and the deadline for entries is November 28th, the final day of GEW. We will have a variety of prizes including visits from leading entrepreneurs. To register please reply with your email address and we will contact you!
