Hi all,
just wondering if you could find a bit of time to answer some questions i have. some of the topics may not apply to everyone but i would find it interesting just to get a general idea off anyone who has a bit of time to respond.
I work for an outsourcing company that provides funding, payroll and credit control services specifically for recruitment agencies. We specialise in dealing with new start agencies as the credit insurance we provide for our clients minimisies business risk by 90% so it is an extremely safe way to trade within the industry.
As a new member to the sales team I have taken it upon myself to try and uncover the process followed or steps taken by an indivudual or group of people when they are looking to start up in business with a new venture.
Do prospects go to the bank first? do they read literature surrounding the area or market they are looking to enter? do they enquire about premises or office furniture? stationery or business cards and literature?
The reason behind this research is simply as a company Oriel Support has grown siginificantly over the last 3 years and we now have an increased budget for marketing and advertising. But rather than just throw this money away i believe by taking a bit of time and looking at the process taken by new starts getting into business for themselves, we could produce more effective results and hopefully not use all of the budget which can then be re-invested elsewhere, maybe into my bonus perhaps.
After being a member on the forum for over 2 months I am aware that there are a lot of good business people on the forum who's views i would much appreiciate, even if you have not set up a business on your own, i would still like to hear about your experiences or any other relelvant information that you feel may be of help.
Thankyou for your time and I look forward to reading your responses in the near future.
Kind regards
Adam Jones
