Hi All,

Thanks for your help in my previous thread!

So. I am looking for a departed place for running my startup in Belfast city center. For rental. But it's kind of special :)

Ideal would be:
- 3-4 little rooms, no more than 70 sq meters
- no furniture (to be furnished by me)
- toilet
- probably a reception
- heating
- electricity
- the more depressive the better
- I think a basement would be the best!
- NOT an office and NOT in a shared office building
- city center because my customers are mostly students or 19-29 young people and company employees sent to me

Unfortunately I couldn't find similar premises on major websites. Probably they are unadvertised or forgotten.

If my business plan come true, I will need the same places all around in UK in major cities.

Don't worry, this kind of service doesn't exist in UK so I am not going to be your competitor :)

Many thanks for your help, folks!

Have a look at Howard House, on Brunswick Street.

Last I heard (I'll admit, that was a few months ago) they were struggling to fill the place & were agreeing rent free deals for a certain period. I know of at least 2 floors in there that were totally empty at the point I speak of. The building is very depressing...take it from someone who tried to present a 4 hour radio show from there every day & tried to be creative in the depressive atmosphere! Worth investigating if nothing else?

There are also the guys at Premier Business Centre. We had a quote from them for a client recently & it was very reasonable. But not at all depressive!

I am on it! thanks Bigmouth. Yesterday I was sniffing around Joy street :)
Once upon a time I had to make radio shows sitting in a caravan at the bottom of a water-tower! I believe your friend...

No worries! & people think media is glitzy, eh?! They've clearly never been the only person in the station at the weekend with the fridge humming with last weeks milk!!

Your caravan story reminds me of a couple of RSLs many years ago - happy days!

what I like so much so far is the Blackstaff Mill building. Only problem is that they are a little far from students.
Another idea is College st - Queen st corner. Is anyone know who is the managing company?

But still a BASEMENT unit would be the best I say :)

Did you ever find one in the end then?

Nope. And I am still looking for one! Do you have anything in mind?

The owner of Chonies is looking for somewhere around Belfast. We seen a really good unit in Howard Street near Spires, small and very good for a startup like us.

Try speaking to one of the local (Belfast) Enterprise agencies, they may know of something that might be what you are looking for.
There is one in Castlereagh TL: 028 9055 7557
