Hello all,
I'm delighted to announce that the five Northern Irish finalists in the UK-wide competition The Pitch 2011 (http://www.thepitch2011.com) have been selected. They will be presenting to three judges at the Grand Opera House in Belfast on 21 September for the chance to win business support worth £50,000 at our grand final in London in November.
The five entrepreneurs and businesses are:
Anthony Kieran, Media Lightbox (an online file storage and management for businesses)
Conor James Moran, Mobile Report (a web and mobile application used to generate reports for field based operatives)
Barbara Hughes, Boozeberries (a premium artisan berry liqueur naturally enhanced with the infusion of wild fragrant berries)
Maria McGee, Marble Hill (natural skin care solutions for everyday skin problems)
Jason Paul, Floe (a device that downdrains and removes stagnant water from houses, holiday homes, caravans and motorhomes)
If you'd like to see the businesses in action you are very welcome to join us in the audience for free! As well as the pitches, we'll have entrepreneurs and other experts sharing their insights including Alastair Hamilton from Invest Northern Ireland and millionaire entrepreneur Lara Morgan. Your ticket will also include entry to our official after party with free drinks which is organised by Digital Belfast (http://www.digitalbelfast.com).
