JIM DEVINE is one of several top politicians who will be on a panel facing small business bosses in West Lothian later this month.
The former trade union leader and now Livingston Labour MP took over the West Lothian seat from former Cabinet minister, the late Robin Cook.
He will be joined by Robin Harper MSP (Green), Councillor Angela Constance
(SNP) of West Lothian Council and Graham Russell, who is on the policy unit for the Federation of Small Businesses.
The date is Thursday, August 31, at noon in The Institute for System Level Integration, Alba Campus, Livingston, and the organisers are The Small Business Club.
Janet Torley, managing director of Events for Business, who operate The Small Business Club, said: "This is a really strong panel.
"We've Labour, Green and SNP representatives as well as a leading figure from the Federation of Small Businesses, Britain's leading lobbying organisation.
"Questions will be invited from the floor and we expect a lively session."
Dunfermline-based Janet added: "We held a similar Question Time-style meeting like this in Fife and it attracted around 50 businessmen and women.
"The session sparked lively debate and we expect the same on this occasion."
