Hi
Am thinking about joining this but just wondered what the benefits are and if it is worth it?
Thanks

not worth it, unless you work in a highly volitile industry and require help all the time.

Hi Judith
I joined and found it was worthwhile for the free business banking. I have saved on bank charges, the only drawback is that the internet banking side of things isn't very user frienly.
Haven't made use of any of the other services they offer. Did ring once to enquire about insurance, but no-one ever got back to me.
You can't just phone and join. You have to make an appointment for someone to come and see you at home/business premises - bit tedious really.
I am still planning to renew my membership this year. Hope this helps

There was a thread with 30 entries a while back, it is here (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=12644&highlight=federation+small+businesses)

I joined for 2 reasons. Their logo on my web site and free legal advice. I haven't needed their free legal advice yet. Not sure if it's worth the money. All the rest of their benefits are worthless except possibly their business forum. (http://www.fsb.org.uk/forums)

Hmmm.........just took a look - doesn't look like it is worth it for me. I have free Business banking anyway, and was only really looking at the delivery contacts they have,
Thanks

Hi there.
I've had no tangible benefit, but I wonder whether the 'Insurance advice/cover' is worth the £100 per year? Like any insurance, we'll never know until we need it.
Cheers, Nigel

Dont they do tax investigation insurance? I was with them for just that as that would be equivalent to the membership on its own. Other than that no real benefit.
