Hello

I have a client you I am designing and hosting their website for them.

They already have a domain (through Easyspace) and I need to get this domain pointed at the hosting space I have arranged for them.

I have full details of the hosting DNS servers which I know must be used.

It is just when I logged into clients Easyspace domain control panel where things got confusing!

Easyspace seem to offer either a) Change Name Servers or b) Point Domains

Can anyone advise?
I am sure it is easy enough but I am not sure of the difference here!

many thanks
Joanne

You want the DNS (nameservers)

a) Change Nameservers

And use the hosts nameservers i.e. ns1.host.com hope this makese sense. :)

Hi Carl

Yes that makes sense - thankyou
I was just slightly worried because a) I had not done this before and b) Easyspace had lot of RED warnings everywhere!

I will change the Nameservers to as what was instructed by the hosting company.

many thanks
Joanne
