Just wanted to share our experience about Miva UK. We opened a PPC account with them two months ago. Despite over 20 emails and several phone calls, we have not managed to get a single campaign up and running with them. They often do not respond to emails and, when you ring, they keep you holding in a call-waiting system forever.

They have bizarre rules which I have never seen on other PPC seach engines e.g. you can only have one site in your account. The interface is truly lousy: despite trying to upload our logo - which was exactly per their specifications - ten times, it didn't work. About ten other flaws with their interface that I have discovered so far.

They make opening an account with them such a painful procedure that it is no surprise than MIVA UK have no advertisers for popular search terms. Try searching for popular terms and there will not be a single advertiser. As soon as our credit expires the account will be closed down.

Thanks for the tip. Are topclick a PPC search engine? There is nothing at topclick.com or .co.uk

We'd be keen to know of PPCSEs which provide good service and high quality traffic.

I would definately recommend Google Adwords, its the hardest PPC system to master but those who do, are well rewarded.

-Google Adwords allows you to have many different websites in your account
-Starter & Standard edition User accounts that caters for beginners to advanced users
-Easy to use stable interface
-Free conversion tracking tool that allows you to track your individual keywords
-Allows you either loose or precise matching between phrases
-Lets you rotate multiple ads simultaneously, and lets you focus your ads on specific countries.
-Lets you change your ad's instantly, that makes it the ultimate engine for testing ideas fast.
-And much more...

I would also recommend testing out yahoo PPC, to take advantage of any traffic you maybe missing via google. I frequently come across expensive terms with much more competing ad's via google compared to yahoo, so test it out.

If you require any further assistance, drop us an email.

Wishing you all the success in the world,
