What are the charities objectives and would the trustee receive any remuneration?
Based on the Charity Commission's charitable purpose, it should be fitted in the advance education scope. Generally speaking, it targets overseas students from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao mainly, enhancing their study experiences in Wales, promoting cultural awareness, etc. As what I learn so far, trustees are not paid, but it can be some expenses, pocket expenses.

It is important to know that a trustee should NOT recieve remuneration for trustee duties, it is expressly forbidden by the Charity Commission.
Although there are times when a trustee can be paid for delivering a service, this must be for work over and above trustee duties.

Interesting point, have you read the charities commission website? http://www.charity-commission.gov.uk/About_us/About_the_Commission/trindex.aspx

Thanks. I think that if you explain the charities objectives further that hopefully an accountant who has interest in this area will come forward. Unfortunately, although I work with some charities on a voluntary basis, I currently do not have capacity to undertake any new commitments on an unpaid basis.
