We believe Coventry Spartans are heading in the right direction now that we have such a good setup and are now looking for a sponsor/sponsors to partner with Coventry Spartans. Below are some details about our club.
The club previously known as Coventry Amateurs is an adult team with players 17 years old and upwards. We play against teams from all over the Midlands including a couple of other teams in Coventry. The club has been running for four years and is well known in the local community for non league football.
Last season we reached the Birmingham Saturday Junior Cup Semi-Final and the Challenge Urn Quarter-Final.
The league we play in is the Midland Combination. We are one division off step 7 of the non league pyramid. This means 1 division from entering the FA Vase and 2 divisions off entering the preliminary round of the FA Cup.
We have renamed ourselves Coventry Spartans and have moved our home ground to Coventry Universities 1st team pitch on Westwood Heath Road. The pitch has floodlights and under soil drainage and a fantastic playing surface.
Now that we have moved to the University we have the advantage of attracting more university students as well as local people from Coventry, so our club is very diverse having people from all backgrounds.
